The most appealing character to me in the novel thus far would have to be Gatsby. There's so much more to him than meets the eye and you can't seem to believe certain things about him. He talks to Nick about his military life which seems to be a little bit fake. This however, leads me to wanting to find more about Gatsby.
Gatsby is connected with light in chapter one. This may symbolize goodness within him as his friend talks about Gatsby being a good person who you would want to show to your mother or sister.
